Denny Ford is founder and Managing Director of Ford Solutions 360, LLC, a technology and management consulting firm based in Irvine, California.  Denny is a CPA with more than twenty-five years experience in public accounting and business consulting.  Prior to his current work with FS360 he was a partner and Director of Information Services for Wright Ford Young & Co., one of Southern California’s largest regional CPA firms. 

Denny enjoys his role as a trusted advisor to businesses and non-profit organizations of all sizes; from the smallest of start ups, to some of the largest and most respected organizations in the world.  Known for his knowledge and experience in designing and implementing accounting and management information systems for businesses, in recent years, Denny has been privileged to work on complex projects for non-profit organizations that were truly global in scope.

In 2006, Denny was asked to lead a project team, with other international consulting teams, on the most far-reaching organizational change program ever attempted for one of the largest humanitarian and emergency relief organizations in the world.  The program aimed to help the international partnership of over 100 National Offices better cope with the growth in programming, funding and influence through simplifying their work and freeing up resources for children and community development.  In one particular case, Denny’s team played a key role in establishing a Global Sourcing Office as part of a new Global Supply Chain Management Office.  This project required analysis and re-design of business processes, work flow and functional roles; the design, selection, and implementation of new systems to automate requisition and purchase order processing, and enable detailed buy/spend analysis; and the development of new policies, controls, standards, and best practices.  This project is on-going and making great strides in reaching its goals.

In addition to his professional interests, Denny is active in leadership in Christian higher education.  In 1995, he was elected to the Board of Trustees of Bethel College and Seminary (now Bethel University), in St. Paul, Minnesota.  He served for eleven years, from 1995 to 2006, as a trustee; five as a member of the Business Affairs and Audit Committees, and six years on Seminary Affairs Committee.  He presently serves on the Executive Board of Bethel Seminary, San Diego and is a member of Academic Affairs Committee.  Denny has also served on the Board of Trustees, Southwest Baptist Conference, San Diego, California, from 1990 to 1995 and chaired the Finance Committee.

Denny and his wife Marci live in Irvine where Marci is Director of Discipleship at Woodbridge Community Church (WCC).   Marci is the author and teacher of In-the Word: a Comprehensive Study of the Whole Bible, which is in its fourteenth year.  In the live presentation of this course Marci blends her rich knowledge of biblical history and culture with a careful handling of the Text, and her delightful ability for communicating faith lessons through storytelling.  In-the-Word is held weekly and is widely attended by both men and women. The study is also available on-line at www.woodbridgechurch.org/intheword where individual study guides and recorded lectures can be downloaded for personal or small group use.  Marci and Denny have three grown children, all graduates of Biola University, who are married and beginning to raise children of their own.

Finally, Denny is pursuing the Master of Arts in Theological Studies at Bethel Seminary, San Diego to help him in teaching and encouraging people toward an active, relevant, and integrated life of faith…at church, at home and at work…through biblical studies, classical spiritual disciplines, and grateful service.
